Based in Oxford we create innovative, elegant and functional bespoke furniture for education and library premises that want to maximise their space in a beautiful way.
Folio is a subsidiary of D. Smith Joinery; a family owned company established in 1972 creating bespoke joinery of all kinds, as Folio we work across the UK for schools like Eton, universities including Oxford, libraries, businesses, Windsor Castle and government agencies like the MOD.
The Folio concept was about creating intelligent concepts and systems to save space or store away that biggest piece of desktop clutter; the monitor and keyboard! We made sure the system was endlessly adaptable so that our clients had an infinite range of styling and materials options for their made to measure furniture.
